Stepping into 2019, Rest & Digest Wellness Haven invites you to bring positive transformation in your health. This retreat is designed to assist participants in developing the courage necessary to take the steps towards a healthy internal and external life. We believe that the internal processes required to make deep and positive changes are what ensure a successful outcome. We keep our retreats small and intimate with no more than 5 participants to ensure that each person gets the full benefit from the experience.
Spring-Clean your body, mind, and soul through a cleansing program. The 7 days unfold through a step-by-step cleansing routine. Prior to Spring Clean – you will be given a pre-cleanse program that you will begin a week before you join us. This prepares your body for the first 2 days of juicing and vegetable broths. These 2 days are designed to allow the digestive system time to rest and begin the cleansing process.
The following 2 days brings in gentle, nourishing, nutrient-rich plant foods that are easy on the digestive system. Thereafter in the following 3 days we create a menu that will continue to support your digestive health as well as provide you with delicious foodie ideas to take home with you.
Whilst the emphasis is on the dietary aspect of the week, we balance your experience with tools that assist in managing daily stresses. Below are the suggestions that will assist your Body and Mind cleansing process.

Studies have proven yoga to be one of the best ways to reduce stress, lower blood pressure and relieve symptoms such as insomnia, depression and anxiety. Yoga also helps to improve overall fitness, strength, and flexibility. In the class we bring in gentle breathing exercises, as well as meditation to bring about a calming of the mind.

TRE Classes (Tension Releasing Exercises)
TRE are set of gentle stretching exercises which invoke your own body’s natural tremor mechanism, which in turn releases the contracted muscle patterns resulting from the stress of daily life, as well as from injuries and surgery.
The time spent during a Nutritional Consultation will be used to go over the 7-day food journal which was completed prior to your pre-cleanse program, so that it reflects your normal way of eating. This will be followed by discussing your way forward for your unique health concerns. Follow-up programs are available on request where ongoing support is needed.
Reflexology and Sound therapy
Deborah has blended the soothing sound of the singing bowls with the practice of Reflexology to bring a calm healing to the body and mind.
Our creativity class gives you the opportunity to explore your creative side. Creativity classes are included as part of our relaxation and rejuvenation retreats and are a popular way of re-connecting with the right brain creative side to balance the logical and reasoning left side.
