TRE is a simple technique that uses exercises to release stress or tension from the body that accumulate from every day circumstances of life, from difficult situations, immediate or prolonged stressful situations, or traumatic life experiences (i.e., natural disasters, social or domestic violence). TRE is a set of six exercises that help to release deep tension from the body by evoking a self-controlled muscular shaking process in the body called neurogenic muscle tremors. The uniqueness of this technique is that this shaking originates deep in the core of the body of the psoas muscles. These gentle tremors reverberate outwards along the spine releasing tension from the sacrum to the cranium. It is a self-help technique that, once learned, can be integrated into a daily routine. Immediate benefits include: Better sleep, reduction of pain, increased mobility, more relaxed, more centred and grounded, and a general overall feeling of calm and well-being.

Private TRE sessions are held at Rest & Digest Wellness Haven and a minimum of 6 TRE sessions are required to fully equip clients to continue with them on their own at home. However it is not limited to 6 TRE sessions and clients may continue for as long as they wish with facilitated TRE sessions.

In addition to private TRE sessions, once-weekly, 6-week TRE group workshops are held for groups of family members and/or friends/colleagues who would like to learn TRE in a group. A minimum of 6 people are needed for these TRE group workshops which would be held on Saturday mornings from 9am to 10am.

Small TRE group workshops for 2 to 5 people can also be arranged on the same basis as above. These are usually ideal for a parent/child, or for couples, for 2 or 3 friends, or a small family group.
