Join Matthew and Deborah in a weekend exploring health and well-being. We share the principals we have garnered in our Life journey. Throughout our environment, we have examples that will inspire you. These living examples will ignite your inspiration to making changes in your home space and your health. We would love you to join us in Up-Your-Beet.
Up-Your-Beet in your life and let us all live vibrantly connected and awake.

Highlights of the weekend:

  • Kundalini Yoga – 2 morning sessions of yoga, breath work and meditation that support your physical health, stress management, stamina and resilience in your daily life.
  • We move into the kitchen where you will explore the benefits of in-door kitchen garden. Moving into the external environment we look at the different gardening examples of herb gardening, vegetable gardens and medicinal plants.
  • Digestive health is the foundation in the overall support of your well-being. We explore natural rhythms and cycles, food combining and what a healthy start to the day looks like. All these facets support an Up-Beet life style.
  • In The Kitchen & Your Pantry – how to set up a pantry that supports menu planning. We look into supportive – breakfast, lunch and dinner menu ideas.
An introduction into Juices- smoothies, soups, teas and broths – their advantages. Recipes and tasters
  • Prebiotics / Probiotics – Fermented foods and beverages; traditional practices that have been around for centuries. Sprout It (established in 2011) will share inspiring fermented concepts.
  • Meal preparations – These will be hands-on experiential practices.
  • In the spirit of community, we get to share ideas, be inspired with one another’s life journeys, spend time in fun and laughter as we move through the weekend activities.
  • “Meaningful Conversations – what does your back yard look like?” – Jane Smith leads us in a 3 hour session on Saturday where we stop and reflect on what is working and what is not working in our lives.
